Hoy mis palabras vienen del corazón. El matrimonio no es caminar uno detrás del otro, ni uno delante del otro, sino siempre lado a lado. Es sostenerse en los días fáciles y también en los días difíciles, recordando que juntos son más fuertes que separados. Hija mía, hoy entrego tu mano a quien sé que cuidará de ti, y a ti, querido yerno, te entrego también mi confianza. Que siempre se acompañen con respeto, paciencia y ternura, y que nunca olviden que el amor verdadero se construye todos los días con pequeños gestos. Caminen juntos, rían juntos, sueñen juntos… y así, unidos, todo será posible.

Today, my words come from the heart. Marriage is not about walking one behind the other, or one in front of the other, but always side by side. It is about supporting each other through the easy days and the difficult days, remembering that together you are stronger than you are apart.
